Pastor

Rev. Dr. Thomas McIntyre grew up in Memphis, TN. He’s a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL (B.A. Journalism and Mass Communications, 2003), Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL (Masters of Divinity, 2008) and Knox Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, 2023). He’s been an ordained minister for 20 years. He and his wife Jennifer served as church-planting missionaries in Taiwan for 16 years, where they started Sanhe Gospel Church in Zhongpu, Taiwan. They moved to Boyds, Maryland, in 2025 to plant Lifepointe Bible Church. Thomas and Jennifer have 3 children – Ashlee (16), Tyler (14) and Lianna (10).

Ministry Director

Jennifer Su McIntyre grew up in College Station, TX. She’s a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism (B.S. Journalism, 2003) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando (Masters in Biblical Studies, 2008). Jennifer served in Taiwan for 19 years in various roles.  She is the author of the books “Dead Women Walking” (later condensed to “Unbound”) and “Ping Ping and the Very Scary, Slightly Hairy Man.” The Gospel Coalition has also published Jennifer’s articles on idolatry and missions, as well as interviewed her about ministry in Taiwan.
